Description
Role Mission: This immediate, full-time opening for the role of the Network Administrator I – IPS is an opportunity to maintain and support the day-to-day operations, as well as support projects and campus openings, regarding networked information systems nationally for academic entities governed by IPS Enterprises – IDEA Florida, IDEA Louisiana, IDEA Greater Cincinnati and a future IDEA Arkansas region. You would be physically based out of our Florida – Tampa Bay region handling daily network issues and troubleshooting there in-person and/or remote when appropriate while also handling all other IPS regions mentioned in the entities above outside of the Tampa Bay region remotely with some travel required to any given region or campus under the as forementioned regions for any project and/or issue necessitating your physical presence and travel approved by your manager. By driving forward and maintaining the networked systems in these areas, you will be helping IDEA always ensure access to instructional resources to staff and students within them. You will report directly to the Network and Voice Director for IDEA and work alongside our Network Engineer and IT Project Management Team to achieve success in the growth of IDEA within the IPS entities with the opening of new campuses/offices and campus additions. You will report to work during regular hours of 8AM to 5PM EST and be on call 24/7/365 to report and resolve outages that occur within sites in your coverage area. If you do not currently reside within the Tampa Bay area, relocation will be considered for applicants who meet all other criteria.

Implement, and develop network hardware to provide 100% BoY (beginning of year) deliverables by FDoS (first day of school) for all IDEA Louisiana, IDEA Florida, IDEA Greater Cincinnati, future IDEA Arkansas campuses and IPS regional offices
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot problems, and outages to maintain 99.5% uptime for the year
Ensure 100% of network connected systems and resources are at a Security Maturity Level of at least "2 – Repeatable" in accordance with the Texas Cyber Security Framework
100% of all network infrastructure maintained and analyzed on a quarterly basis
Meet Helpdesk ticket expectations (95% Helpdesk tickets responded to within 72hrs/ no more than 90% tickets completed remotely) and improve individualized client support by receiving feedback through helpdesk surveys and focus groups (80% user satisfaction rating from each school).
