Role Mission: The Talent Development Administrator supports the success of the national Talent Development Team by supporting the work of the Talent Development Operations team around team needs such as budget management, team budget-related expenses, managing content on the hub site and partnering across our national and regional teams to identify and solve challenges and supports effective use of our data and tracking systems and our business office procedures. The Talent Development Administrator will support the operation team that all Talent Development systems and resources are up to date and accessible to appropriate audiences and that communication and support is both accurate and timely, allowing the team to operate more efficiently, effectively, and strategically. The Talent Development Administrator will partner with the Talent Development operations team as well as Talent Development lead team members to provide cohesive and collaborative team experiences and interactions that contribute to the culture of joy and achievement of successful outcomes for Talent Development at IDEA. 

This is a full-time, hybrid (remote/on-site) position with preference given to candidates who live in the Rio Grande Valley, Tarrant County, San Antonio, Houston, El Paso, or Austin, or who are willing to relocate. You will be expected to work at an IDEA Headquarters office at least one day per week, occasionally more during peak months.




1. Retention: 85% Talent Development Team

  • Support Talent Development and sub-teams with accurate and updated databoards
  • Collaborate with teams as needed to strategize on retention for PIRs, Talent Development, and Teacher Residency
  • Evaluate retention data and analyze trends to strategize as needed

2. 95% of month-end AMEX card reconciliation back up documentation for assigned accounts is submitted to business office within 3 business days after packet is received.

  • Reconcile team’s AMEX Card monthly expenses on a weekly basis
  • Ensure that all purchase card transactions have adequate description and appropriate codes
  • Request missing receipts from purchase card holders
  • Communicate potential payroll deductions to card holder (i.e., taxes, gratuities, and other non-allowable expenses)
  • Ensure all team’s cards are reconciled and submitted with proper documentation within 3 business days after reconciliation packet is received.
  • Assist card holders in reviewing transactions that were flagged by business office for payroll deductions




3. Maintain the Talent Development Team hub site, updating content and ensuring we receive at least 75 hits per month

  • Manage team members to provide content by the relevant deadlines
  • Edit and upload content as requested by the national TD Team
  • Engage relevant stakeholder to identify new content for inclusion on the Hub
  • Manage the hub site for the Talent Development Team
  • Oversee the TD Team site, providing support to site manager, seeks opportunities to continuously improve the site
  • Respond to hub update requests within 24-48 hours
  • Collaborate with web developers to troubleshoot site issues


4. 85% of Talent Development Team agree this is a Great Place to Work (Composite score)

  • Works closely with team manager to help prioritize and support TD Team needs
  • Support in data gathering for tacticals and check-ins
  • Develop and implement operating mechanism to increase team inclusion and collaboration
  • Support the Talent Development Team Manager with budget monitoring and report out budget vs expenditures by hosting regular budget meetings with Talent Development Team Manager
  • Ensure members of the team have the essential materials to support daily work.
  • Be responsive to the team’s requests within 24-48 hours based on stakeholder/content

  • Education:  Associate’s degree preferred
  • Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in program or project management.
  • Driver’s License in good standing, reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, to all known IDEA regions


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong customer service & communication skills
  • Strong self-awareness, understanding of interpersonal dynamics, and emotional intelligence
  • Experience in project coordination and management with a record of success in planning and execution
  • Experience with ability to learn Cornerstone, Microsoft SharePoint, other progress tracking systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite



Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $50,500 and $59,600, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for a performance bonus based on individual and organizational performance and goal attainment.
