Role Mission: The Asset Management Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records. This role is heavily focused on directly maintaining district-wide technology inventory counts for student and staff devices. The Asset Management Specialist is also responsible for providing training for the campus personnel that would be using Asset Panda, communicate with all inventory stakeholders, and create reports that provide visibility of campus counts.

 

What You’ll DoAccountabilities:

 

Meet HelpDesk ticket expectations (95% HelpDesk tickets completed within 48hrs/ 40% tickets completed remotely) and improve individualized client support by receiving feedback through helpdesk surveys and focus groups (80% user satisfaction rating from each school).

  • Complete 95% help desk tickets on time and follow-up with users
  • Create a HelpDesk culture
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service and support which will be measured by weekly HelpDesk reports and customer surveys

 

100% Accuracy of Inventory & System Management and 97.5% of the inventory is maintained at the campus.  (Computers, Mi-Fis, Mobility)  

  • 100% campus devices will be placed on Asset Panda and being given a status to correlate with physical information.  
  • 98% of the campus devices will be returned to the campus at the end of the year. (Laptop, Chromebooks, Tablets, MiFi)

 

Maintain Campus IT equipment and have 100% campus equipment ready 2 wks. Prior to the first day of school (Computers, Mobility)

  • Ensure that the computer order is placed accurately based on enrollment and placed on Asset Panda.
  • Ensure that the hotspot order is placed accurately and placed on Asset Panda.
  • Partner with warehouse to ship computers to new and existing campuses for their new staff

What You Bring -- Competencies:

 

Qualifications:

  • Education:  Associate’s Degree Required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in an inventory role
    • One-year technical support experience, w/ exposure to the daily process of inventory customer support. 
    • Must be able to communicate effectively with non-technical individuals
    • Experience working in an administrative support position
    • Ability to think proactively and work with minimal direction
    • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to analyze and resolve computer hardware and software problems
    • Warehouse experience
    • Knowledgeable in word processing, databases, and excel.

 

What We Offer

Compensation: 

 

  • Compensation for this role is set at an hourly rate ranging between $19.19 for 0 years of experience and $23.98.
