Role Mission: The Regional Enrollment Manager contributes to the annual student enrollment cycle that starts with recruitment and ends with 100% enrollment on the first day of school. They will support and coach their region’s Enrollment Coordinator (ECs), who are campus-based staff members that report to the Assistant Principal of Operations (APOs) in charge of acquiring, nurturing, and converting prospective applicants into enrolled students. They will also lead regional EC tactical calls, APO partnerships, in person field management, and accountability tactics to drive ECs to meet their ambitious enrollment goals. Under the direct management of the Regional Director of Operations or the Regional Vice President of Operations, they will partner and participate in all national enrollment team operating mechanisms and initiatives, will work in conjunction with APOs to meet enrollment targets and to cascade relevant information from the national enrollment department.

- Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $55,063 and $65,525, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity. This role is also eligible for a performance bonus based on organizational performance and goal attainment.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience with Sales, Organizing and In-Field Recruitment
- Must be willing to travel across the region to multiple locations.
- Occasional outside of region travel
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends at recruitment and enrollment events
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) Preferred

What You’ll Do – Accountabilities:
Achieve 100% enrollment by the 10th day of school by managing and coaching through influence their region’s Enrollment Coordinators
- Use enrollment data to identify and drive ECs to action to close enrollment gaps through accountability check-ins, text messages, emails, etc.
- Manage and set the agenda for your regional portfolios’ weekly Enrollment Coordinator Tactical, where ECs report their data, strategize on how they will make progress to their goals, and share best practices they’ve deployed to yield results
- Assist ECs in developing and executing student recruitment efforts and plans to target families with school-aged children within the 3 to 5-mile radius immediately surrounding each school
- Secures region or district wide recruitment events and opportunities on behalf of ECs and campuses to supplement their field efforts
- Responsible for overseeing EC field activity and conducting field visits on an ongoing basis to provide support and feedback
- Assist ECs achieve all enrollment milestones
90% new student persistence
- Collaborate with campuses on high-quality recruiting events to greet new families.
- Collaborate with campuses to host high-quality Info Sessions and Open Houses to onboard new families
- Monitor parent participation throughout the recruiting year by measuring attendance at events, engagement with communications, and response time
- Assist ECs and APO’s in the planning and carrying out campuses Welcome to IDEA events
- Ensure execution of family onboarding plan, including online and in-person interactions, in order to ensure all new families are effectively on-boarded beginning with Lottery and Orientation, through the 1st year of school
100% of Enrollment Milestones Executed On-Time Using Appropriate Enrollment Systems
- Serve as administrator for the region across all national enrollment systems. Attend regional APO tactical and update on weekly activities.
- Coordinate with internal business partners to collect appropriate information and prepare enrollment system for launch ahead of each milestone
- Collaborate with enrollment team to develop and delivery event guides and training materials for each milestone
- Schedule and deliver trainings to appropriate internal business partners prior to each milestone
- Monitor, analyze, and report on daily progress toward goals
- Deploy accountability and intervention strategies as needed
85% retention of the region’s Enrollment Coordinators
- Responsible for overseeing EC field activity and conducting field visits on an ongoing basis to provide support and feedback
- Partner with APOs to interview and hire the strongest candidates for EC vacancies
- Responsible for a strong onboarding process for new Enrollment Coordinators
- Continue to pivot and make changes to the Enrollment Coordinator position to increase EC satisfaction and retention
Equip ECs with the skills and coaching needed for them to effectively deploy virtual recruitment tactics
- Coach ECs on how to leverage a variety of platforms (email, social media, virtual events, webinars, etc.) to increase application acquisition and execute a virtual enrollment calendar scope and sequence
- Codify our virtual and in-person recruitment best practices so that these resources can be readily available for deployment
- Develop a robust phone banking program that can be activated across campuses that elicits the support of campus teams, HQ staff, and parent volunteers
Contribute Regional Insight to Inform National Enrollment Strategies and Tactics
- Become proficient in STREAM, our proprietary student enrollment platform, so that you can support other team members by providing technical support to campuses and families
- Provide overall support to campuses and parents during large enrollment milestones (lottery, re-registration, and registration)
- Assist other team members on as needed basis with trainings designed for ECs and APOs
- Join APO and HQ regional tactical calls to cascade relevant team information
