  National Intervention Coach

 

 

Role Mission

The National Intervention Coach will oversee Intervention and Response to Intervention (RtI-MTSS) Programming for IDEA Public Schools to ensure maximum student achievement to close the achievement gap for critical students by designing, training and coaching implementation of processes. The National Intervention Coach will oversee the design, processes, trainings, coaching and implementation of the Critical Student Intervention (CSI) program across the district in coordination with the National Institute for Direct Instruction (NIFDI) partnership.

 

Location: This is a full-time position based in Texas, with preference given to candidates who live in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth), or who are willing to relocate.

 

 

Travel: This position will involve around 50% travel across IDEA regions. Preference is given to candidates who live in one of IDEA's Texas regions or who are willing to relocate.

 

What You’ll Do – Accountabilities:

 

Essential Duties:

  •  Designing professional development
  • Delivering exceptional professional development
  • Communication skills across communication modes
  • Coordinating multiple groups of people
  • Collaborating, communicating and designing processes in team setting
  • Collaborating and communicating with multiple businesses partners
  • Coaching and developing leaders and teachers
  • Ensure successful implementation of CSI so that 50% of the CSI students grow 2.0 years in Reading and 60% in Math or end the year On Grade Level
  • Ensure successful implementation of the Response to Intervention (RtI) or MTSS system across the district
  • Ensure successful collaboration/partnership with National Institute for Direct Instruction
  • Work with regional CSI leads and course leaders on the scope and sequence for Interventionist PD

 

 

What You Bring – Competencies:

 

Required experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Technology proficient (office 365)
  • 3+ years of experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $81,800 and $95,800, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity. This role is also eligible for performance pay based on organizational performance and goal attainment.
